這一期的Renal Fellow Network這張圖值得參考，Xanthogranulomatous Pyelonephritis (XGP)

一不小心，影像學檢查上它可能會被誤判為renal cell carcinoma（真的有像！）
但是臨床上XGP有以下的特點：
1) 常有chronic UTIs病史、staghorn stone或是慢性阻塞
2) 或是嚴重腹內感染，影響到腎組織
3) 它被誤稱為 "pseudotumor"，甚至會"metastasize"到附近的器官
4) 治療：抗生素，嚴重者要切除腎臟
5) 常見病源菌：E. coli, Proteus, and Pseudomonas
6) 組織學：lipid-laden foamy macrophages on a background of diffuse renal parenchymal necrosis.
